On Monday, May 20th, 2024, the President of the University of Duhok, Dr. Dawood Sulaiman Atrushi, appeared on WAAR TV's "Roj Baş Kurdistan" program to discuss the university's new strategic planning and the establishment of its Steering Committee. During the program, Dr. Atrushi outlined the university's ambitious 15-year strategic plan aimed at enhancing the quality of education and establishing the University of Duhok as a global leader in higher education.
The University of Duhok (UOD) recently made headlines with its groundbreaking 15-year strategic plan, unveiled on Kurdistan TV's popular program, Good Morning. Dr. Atrushi, UOD's President, outlined the plan's vision for transforming UOD into a global leader in education. This ambitious roadmap prioritizes student success through innovative programs, fosters a culture of sustainability, and embraces technology to create a dynamic learning environment.

On Wednesday, October 18, 2023, in a ceremony attended by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Aram Mohammed Qadir and his delegation, officials of governmental, academic and party institutions, students, teachers, academic and administrative staff of UOD and guests from outside the university, the "Strategic Plan of UOD 2023-2038" was announced.
